HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR PERFECT TAN
24 hours before
• Exfoliate thoroughly using a scrub or exfoliating mitt to remove dead skin cells
• Shave or wax if required (avoid waxing on the same day)
12–24 hours before
• Avoid moisturisers, oils or heavy body lotions
Day of appointment
• Shower and arrive with clean, dry skin
• Do not apply deodorant, perfume, makeup or moisturiser
• Wear loose, dark clothing and open shoes
• Remove jewellery before your appointment
AFTERCARE
Straight after your appointment
• Avoid showering or getting wet
• Avoid sweating or exercise
• Avoid tight clothing that may rub the skin
Check with your tan technician how many hours before you can shower. Your first ‘rinse’ shower should be:
Rinse in lukewarm water until the guide bronzer runs clear. This is just the top colour that helps guide the technician to ensure the perfect coverage. Your tan will continue to develop after this first rinse
Avoid exfoliating or scrubbing the skin
Avoid soaking in water, long baths, pools or spas
FOR BEST RESULTS
Moisturise twice daily
Use gentle, sulfate-free body wash
Pat skin dry rather than rubbing
